Carine Salvy - Chief Executive Officer
Since 2010 Carine Salvy has been working as an independent consultant in finance and corporate governance. She had previously worked for five years as a portfolio manager at Ecofin Ltd in London, an investment management firm specialised in the global utility, alternative energy and environmental sectors.
Carine Salvy graduated from French business school ESSEC, and started her career in New York at Paribas Capital Markets, where she worked as an equity research analyst on Latin American utilities. She then joined Booz Allen Hamilton in London as a strategy consultant in the energy sector.
From 1999, successively at Lazard, Société Générale and Dresdner Kleinwort, she worked as an equity analyst covering the European Utilities sector for institutional investors.
Jean-Christophe Cheylus – Chief Operating Officer
Jean-Christophe Cheylus graduated from Ecole Polytechnique, as well as the French National School of Petroleum and Engines and the Colorado School of Mines.
After joining POWEO in 2006 as Head of the Gas Supply Department, he was appointed Head of the Sourcing, Optimisation and Portfolio Management in 2008.
Jean-Christophe Cheylus has developed a strong professional experience occupying several positions in the gas sector. After working with Gaz de France Negoce, where he was in charge of purchases optimization and arbitration, he joined the gas projects development department at EDF. Before joining POWEO, he was in charge of the Gas Supply for Dalkia.
